Description
This model is designed for AMS printing and for two coloured printing without AMS.
AMS file should be ready to be printed as is. And of course feel free to use any colours you like, these were just the only one's I had :p
Without AMS (disclaimer: printing this way is quite hard and you most likely will encounter failed prints on a 0.4 nozzle.) You have to download the two separate .stl files and import both of them, then you just print them one after the other, into the same spot. You have to place the coaster as far back into any of the 4 corners as you can. So when you start printing the second colour, the printer homing calibration finishes correctly and it doesn’t start from a wrong layer height. You can also keep the bed heated manually after printing part 1, so you don't have to hurry with changing spools. Here is a better tutorial of what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LE_8ew8m3BA.
If you find this design too big or small for you, you can scale it in your slicer. Just remember to scale all the parts with the same percentage if you are printing without AMS or if you print the case to fit your newly sized coasters :)
Notes-
-Only one wall on first layer ON this isn't necessary, but increases the print quality.
-It is important for this model to be printed slowly, otherwise the first layer easily goes bad.
-You can try to use arachne wall generation, for me it gave too inconsistent results.
