Description
Great Father's Day Gift!
Introduction
Tired of fumbling around in my golf bag for long tees, I made this tee case.. It holds about 15 tees that are 83mm long. While it will probably work for slightly longer tees, if anyone uses tees that are significantly longer, I can make a longer case. The case can attach to your golf bag with many 3D print solutions.
I recommend NOT to use PLA. I use PETG and all PRUSA printers print PETG beautifully. If you use a smooth PEI sheet, use glue stick or PETG may ruin the smooth sheet. Satin/Textured sheets work fine.
I have included a basic carabiner for attachment from the case ring (in yellow) to your golf bag, but you can find several carabiners to print that would work fine. I use a double carabiner. I used the design from here, but doubled its size, then modified the opening in Fusion 360.

Loading tees
I put 7 tees in upside down. Then, I load 8 tees (top up). This seems the most efficient use of space. The cap screws on easily with a 3 thread design. Do not over-tighten.
Put the ring on, then the cap.
Print instructions
I printed this from red and yellow Eryone PETG . Any standard PETG should work fine.
I used 0.3 layer height, 3 perimeters and 3 top/bottom walls. 0.2 layer height will give even better results.
I have 2 caps. One has my logo (a crab holding a tee) and one is plain so you can add your own text. It is easy to use a manual filament change to make the image or text stand out.
I can provide a step file of the cap, if someone has a unique logo or design they wish to add.
