Description
After the bottom plate of my Crux35 frame from my 3.5” FPV copter broke twice in a row and I no longer had a replacement, I designed a compatible frame for the 3D printer.
The dimensions are designed so that the stiffness of the arms matches that of the original frame. Nevertheless, the 3D-printed frame is only 16 g heavier and has almost identical flight characteristics.
I also designed side plates to protect the electronics from dirt and moisture. I printed the plugs in TPU and the rest in ABS. However, PLA should work just as well.
In my video I explain more about this, as well as all the basics for building the copter shown with Walksnail-VTX yourself.
