Adapter for Exakt PV 600 Vacuum Cleaner

This is an optimized replacement part for my "Exakt PTV 600" vacuum cleaner, where the machine to hose adapter broke. The original hose coupler was still sound, so I only designed and printed the actual adapter, which fits into the vaccum cleaner and slides onto the hose adapter.

The designed part fits better into the vac than the original part, and you'll need a fair amount of force to snap it onto the hose adapter, which is intended to keep it in place. The hose will still rotate freely at the machine.

FreeCAD 0.19 project and step files are provided too.

Printing:

I've printed it with 2 walls and no supports, which printed perfectly fine, as the steepest gradient is 45°.

My printer is pretty well-adjusted. If yours isn't you may need to scale the adapter a bit up/down to get a perfect fit onto the original hose adapter, where it needs to snap onto. Alternatively, use a file to remove some material from the inner part of the printed adapter until it will snap onto the hose adapter.
