Description
When assembling my Prusa Core One kit, I noticed that they changed the Nextruder gearbox. Whereas the old one had a retaining ring that rotated together with the gears and blocked the view if a clear cover was installed as well as reduced clarity due to required additional geometry, the new version can simply be modeled with a completely flat surface on the inside. The holes in the feeder gear make it extra sleek looking too.
My model was printed in colorfabb HT clear at 275° nozzle and 105 bed, 15 mm/s speed, without cooling and at 1.02 EM. I think the profile can be improved, but I am happy with the result so far.
