This 3D printable spool holder is designed to fit neatly between the legs of the popular IKEA Lack table — a favorite among 3D printing enthusiasts for enclosures and workspace setups. It supports a 27mm outer diameter metal tube (commonly known as scaffold or industrial pipe) with a length of 434mm, forming a sturdy axle for filament spools.
By utilizing the space between the table legs, this design helps you keep filament organized and easily accessible, while freeing up your desktop.

2x 3D printed spool holder brackets (left + right)
1x 27mm diameter tube (434mm in length)
8x 4mm screws (suggested length: 16–20mm, depending on preference and table material)
Print both left and right holder parts using PLA, PETG, or another rigid material.
Slide the 27mm pipe into the slots of each bracket.
Position the assembly between the inner legs of your IKEA Lack table.
Secure each bracket to the table leg using 4mm screws (2 per side).
Load your filament spools onto the tube, and you're ready to go!
