UGREEN HDMI cable extension mount

A simple mount to attach the socket of a UGREEN HDMI extension cable to a wall / unit / etc. In my case I designed it to mount my Amazon Fire TV Stick (with the case removed and heatsinks added) to get convection airflow behind my TV / game console unit (you wouldn't believe how much better the performance is)!

It's a fairly tight fit, the gap in the back is there to allow it to close up a bit when screwed in (for a tighter fit).

• Uses 2x 3.5mm countersunk parallel sided wood screws (adjust length for your needs),
• 2x Heatsinks used were 30x40x5mm (if you want to do the Fire Stick mod!

Print Settings…

• Used PLA at least for first version,
• 0.2mm layer height / 0.3mm first layer,
• No supports.

PS - I have a convenient chunk of 15mm MDF mounted to the back of my media unit (an IKEA Kallax with dividers, drawers & castor wheels) for mounting things. Currently 2 6 way multi-socket plug bar extension cables, 2x RGB switches, 2x HDMI switches, 2x ethernet switches (one is 100Mb only for old consoles, other is Gigabit for newer consoles).
