I have modified my Yard Force Classic 500 into an OpenMower mower. Firstly, because I like it and secondly, to distinguish it from my unmodified mower - and because I really like the OpenMower logo - I created these two logo plates, one for the mower itself and one for the charging station.
General Info:
- I used the PrusaSlicer to scale, place and assemble the components into the panel
- if you print the plates upside down, you get a very smooth and even surface right away and don't need to do much post-processing
- I wanted a glossy finish, so I sprayed the print with clear varnish (Urethane, supposedly also a UV protection, but the plates are not exposed to any mechanical stress, so this is pretty insignificant)
- I used PLA (but the material shouldn't really matter)
- I give the data for the position and scaling for the two workpieces, so that it should be independent of the slicer used and the concrete layout can be adapted to your own taste
- check the sliced version carefully to make sure the layers fit correctly
- for two-color printing
- I have used an overall layer height of 0.2 mm
- I have defined two extruders in the slicer, one for each color
- the white parts are two layers high (one will not be opaque enough)
- if you print upside down, the font will be better when you start with it - even if you have to change the filament once more

- I used the thin border to clamp the panel under the frame of the charging station. If you print it upside down you will either need supports or you can cut away the layers before printing and stick the logo in the opening of the cover with double-sided adhesive tape
