Voron Gantry Cam Mount Clip - Waveshare OV5693 USB

The reasons why I designed my own mount for a printer camera are:

• I don't like using a standard webcam because I might lose print volume.
• I don't like using a Raspberry Pi camera because the flat cable is difficult to hide.
• I don't like using a nozzle cam.
• I prefer to mount it on the gantry so that I can always see the top of the print and what is below.
• I found the angry cam and the happy cam , but I have to mount them at the back centre to see most of the print progress, and there is the drag chain and the stepper cables.

That's why I tried to solve all these issues by getting a USB-connected Waveshare cam (here, the current model is the OV5693). I adjusted it so that the centre of the print bed is in the horizontal centre of the camera, and the nozzle tip is in the upper third vertically. It's mounted at the bottom of the gantry, so the angle to the nozzle is better.

You don't need an extra M3 screw and T-nut to mount it; just clip it into the 2020 Misumi profile, like my Stealth LED Strip Clips.

All you need are:

• Waveshare OV5693
• 2x M2x8  Screws
• 1x M2x6 Screws
