Description
I dislike bulky enclosure-style tablet mounts, so I designed this minimal, almost invisible wall mount that works with virtually any tablet (subject to having a flat back and not too large camera bump).
It’s ideal for creating sleek wall panels around the home — I personally use it with Galaxy Tab A8 devices running Fully Kiosk and Home Assistant, but the design is workable with most tablet types.
The mount fits a UK double back box, and I also have a variant for a specific UK dry-line box if anyone needs it (drop me a message/comment).
The photos show an older version using a third-party “button fix” clip, but the latest design is fully 3D-printed, including both the button and receiver clip. It’s a tight fit by design — once the tablet plate is attached, you can apply enough pressure to snap it securely together.
I can’t speak for decades of durability, but none of mine have failed yet!
For mounting, I recommend a high-tack wall adhesive tape with a fibreglass mesh backing — try searching Amazon for “Universal High Tack Strong Wall Adhesive with Fiberglass Mesh”.
