Description
This is yet another hotbed mount for the Sovol SV08. It is a remix of the original design. This was inspired by several other options to fix the taco beds already out there.
This mount is designed to work with silicone spacers; you will need longer screws for this. I designed this to use M4 heat set inserts. I pushed these in through the bottom. However, I have included the step file in case someone wants to modify this to work with nuts instead.
For the silicone spacers I used some 18mm ones off of amazon, but I cut them down to 10mm since I didn't want them too tall. I used the attached spacer jig to cut these with a razor blade.

For the screws I used some M4x16 flat head screws. You may need longer ones if you use taller spacers.
I used the screw_tilt_calculate function described by Wrath669 in his write-up to get it close and then I used the bed mesh to fine tune it. SV08BedTension/README.md at main · Wrath669/SV08BedTension · GitHub
One thing to note when using the inserts. If you're going to print high temp filaments. I would suggest making the base out of something that can stand up to the temps and don't over tighten screws. My first version I printed out of ABS and I had some of the inserts pull out. My second version I printed out of PET-CF17 and it's held up pretty well so far. It also helps if you insert them from the bottom.
