Description
This is a model of the famous Adirondack chair.
The original print model is https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7009294. There you'll find more (assembling) details.
It is modeled 1:1, but is intended to print on 1:5 scale. To do this, set the scale in the slicer to 20%. The parts are connected to each other by using filament ø1.75 mm as dowels. It will probably be necessary to first drill the holes with a 1.75 (the best) or 1.8 drill bit, see also the drawing. The whole thing can then be glued together with preferably liquid superglue cyanoacrylate (so better no gel).
Those who want to make the chair true to life will find a model at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7018700 that is mounted with self-tapping screws. It looks more realistic and is easier to assemble.
A number of parts are used several times. On picture of the CAD model and the drawing the color of the parts indicates which parts are identical. The drawing also shows how the chair is put together. The table below is the BOM.
