Equate Ice Bag Replacement Cap

Nothing pisses me off than a poorly designed product, or ones designed to fail rendering the product useless.

My Equate Ice Bag (Sold by Wally-World) failed right after I purchased it. Apparently, they would rather save $0.01 of plastic than to make the lid sturdy enough to keep it from breaking. The wall where the thread that screws into the top of the bag attaches to the top of the cap was so thin it had to be known it was a weak point in the design. Well, it isn't going to break now.

I redesigned the cap including a little message on the top to show my disdain for this company. Either way it works again and I seriously doubt it will break there again considering the cap is now solid!

I had used White PLA+ so that it would match the rest of the bag. You can use whatever filament you have on hand depending on your preference

Here are the settings that I used:

• .20 mm layer height
• .4 mm nozzle
• 40% infill
• Rafts: No
• Supports: No
• 2 perimeter
• 4 Layers top and bottom
