Description
UPDATE 2025-12-28: New version with new features, thanks to comments by @armaguedes. The original bins are still available in the Version 1 folder. The purple bins in the photos are V2; the orange ones are V1.
A new 3×1 bin holds medium breadboards more securely.
indents for the interlock tabs at the bottom of the large bin
bigger indents for the interlock tabs at the bottoms of the medium bins
crush ribs for the magnet holes
slightly more accurate dimensions all around
better fillets and chamfers
Here are Gridfinity compatible bins for three different sizes of electronics breadboard. Each bin holds three breadboards on edge.
They are stackable (when empty) and have magnet and screw holes.
I modeled these in Fusion 360. I've included the CAD files in .f3d and .STEP formats.
It doesn't matter. Material, layer height, perimeters, infill, whatever. I'd avoid nozzles bigger than 0.6mm -- some of the walls are pretty thin.
If you use magnets, do superglue them in place. The crush ribs will hold them securely while gluing, but plastic (especially PLA) will creep and the magnets will fall out in a few months.
