Canoscan Negative Holders

These negative holders allow you to scan negatives on the Canoscan flat-bed scanner. For 116/616 negatives, place the base frame on the scanner platen in the corner indicated by the arrow. Insert the negative in the holder with the shiny side down. Place the top frame on the base and press together, holding the negative. Insert the movable end plate to support the free end of the negative, or use a paper or plastic card. Supporting the free end is supposed to prevent the formation of Newton's rings during scanning.

For 127 negatives place the insert frame in the 120 negative holder provided by Canoscan.
