Print out your 3d printed platform. On my X1, it took about 8 hours on base settings. I used 15% infill.
Put one nut on the very end of the rod and loctite it into place.
Add one of the wheels so it is touching the nut.
Add a second nut after the wheel and loctite that into place. It should not be so close to the wheel that it makes it difficult for the wheel to freely spin, but not so far that the wheel wobbles.
Add your platform piece to the rod. There is a hole slightly larger than the diameter of the threaded rod on the side of the platform. The platform should be pressed up against the nut.
Add a third nut after the platform piece. DO NOT LOCTITE THIS YET.
Add your second wheel
Add your fourth nut. DO NOT LOCTITE YET
Calculate how far apart your wheels need to be. Bring everything to your bass and make sure the wheels wont rub on the side of your case.
Mark the leftover threaded rod, remove the two nuts and wheel, and cut to proper length. I used a hacksaw since its zinc.
Go back and add your two nuts, with loctite this time, and the wheel.
Allow loctite time to dry and you should be complete. Use the long openings to add straps of your choosing and enjoy!
ADDENDUM:
I added a yoga block cut in half to add additional material to space the bass off of the wheels as well as additional padding. You may or may not need to do this if you add additional length of the threaded rod. Nylon straps were added to attach the cart to the case. This could also be done with simple bungee cords. If you choose to take the 1" nylon webbing route, a TPU print that hooks onto the endpin was added to the files
