WEN 9-Inch Band Saw Sled

Why

I'm a beginner woodworker and don't know a ton about tools and sleds, but I found myself wishing I had a sled for my bandsaw when cutting small pieces.

The model

This sled fits the WEN 9-Inch Band Saw. It has a smaller rail than larger saws I've seen.  It may fit the other WEN benchtop saws, but I have not tested this.

The Print

Using a Bambu Labs P1S and PLA filament, I printed both the rail and sled with 50% infill.  The rail has alignment pins that fit into holes on the bottom of the sled.  I tried to make the pins small enough that supports would not be needed while still providing a bit of strength.  I did not use supports for the holes on the bottom of the sled and did not run into issues.

Assembly 

I glued the rail to the bottom of the sled using the pins and holes to align the two pieces.

Use this sled at your own risk as there is no guard on the back of the sled.  I may add one in the future.
