Description
The previous version of this toolhead can be found here:
https://www.printables.com/model/1227723-neo-stiffy-toolhead-creality-ender-3-neo-ender-3-v
The upgrades includes:
Deleted CR touch mount integrated on the right of the toolhead and positioned the probe at the front of the toolhead. Also, the new probe mount connects the 2 5015 fans and ultilizes their rigidity.
What to build
There are 3 versions of Neo Stiffy: the Orbiter v2.0/v2.5 version, Sherpa Mini version, and Sherpa Micro version. I recommend going with the Orbiter version, because it can do 25mm/s^3 flow rate on the stock hotend. If you don't have the budget for an orbiter, I recommend you go with the Sherpa Mini.
How to build
It is rather straight forward.
After you prepared all the components and your extruder, you will need to print 3 parts: the stopping switch mount, the toolhead carriage, and the cr touch probe mount.
Reference the CAD for how things are put together, but you probably don't need it.
Tools you need includes:
- M3 screw driver
- M5 screw driver
- M5 wrench
You can find the configs here:
Bill of Materials (BOM)
Toolhead (keep the screws that's on the stock toolhead. They'll also be needed):
M3 25mm screw * 2
M3 20mm screw * 4
M3 15mm screw * 2
M3 10mm screw * 2
M3 heat inserts * 2
M3 nuts * 2
X stopping switch mount:
M3 5mm screw * 2
M3 10mm screw * 2
M3 35mm screw * 2
As for the extruder, it probably came with mounting screws. Or just use the one that fits your extruder.
Lastly, washers are not required. However, it's good to have a few~
