Description
Recent video from Fusion 360 School (link below) showed a couple methods for doing a cross hatch on an irregular cylinder. I immediately thought there was a “spiral” solution. I checked out a few videos showing modeling an auger blade/bit and after a few tries came up with this solution.
I did this with a circular pattern on an auger blade shape, 2 twists, 10 blades. CAD (f3d) file included in downloads.
