Normcore Tamper - Palm tamping handle

The Normcore Palm Tamper Mod

This model is for those who like their Normcore V4 tamper, but would like to make it more ergonomic and mimic the feel of a palm style tamper.

This is achieved by simply swapping out the handle to one which sits lower and has a big flat surface on the top to press down on.

The Handle is made with threads which the base and stem screws directly into.
This might pose a challenge depending on how well your printer is tuned and how coarse layer height you use.

I have personally printed it in layer height 0.2 in Nobufil PETG without any issues, but the tolerances are tight as the thread pitch is rather fine, meaning that the finer layer height you print in, the better the threads will turn out.

• Normcore Tamper - Infill Modifier.3mf (Only the infill modifier itself)
• Normcore Tamper - Palm Handle + Infill Modifier.3mf (Premade 3mf with both the handle and modifier)

The Infill modifier is used to modify the amount of infill around the part where the threads are and piston rides into, to 100% to make it more sturdy and be able to stand up to the abuse.
