Replacement handle for Gardena Classic wall-mounted hose reel 60

The original handle of our Gardena Classic Wall Hose Reel 60 broke after years of use. To keep the reel functional, I designed and printed a replacement handle in PETG.

Like the original, the new handle is simply press-fitted into the reel – no screws or glue required. To improve the durability of the printed part, I added an internal slot that can be reinforced with an M3 threaded rod, a threaded insert, and secured with a washer and nut from the inside.

The part was printed lying flat so that the layer lines run horizontally, making the handle stronger in the direction of the applied force.

There are two Versions providet, one with a 100mm handle (in use on our reel) and one with a 50mm handle.

Mechanical reinforcement requires a m3 threaded insert, which is melted into the handle. a m3 threaded rod can then be screwed in from the reel end of the handle and secured with a nut and washer.

For the 100mm Handle, use a 100mm threadet rod and for the 50mm use a 50mm threadet rod.
