Lens Cap Holder for Camera Strap

This is a simple holder for lens caps. Now, you don't have to worry about losing or misplacing your lens covers while on the go. This 3D printable model will keep them safe, secure, and easily accessible. 

It is a very simple and quick print, perfect if you just need to finish up a spool or test a filament sample! You can also customize it with different colors to add some personal touch if you like :) 

The design is simple yet very sturdy. The files have been optimized for easy printing will for different lens diameters and camera strap widths.

Edit: 02/2024: we have now uploaded a cap holder that works for two different lens diameters. Check it out!

Edit 21/01/2023: There are 200 files now! We've included all possible diameters, with increments of 1 mm between 35 mm and 80 mm, for strap widths of 35, 38, 40, 45 and 50 mm. The files are organized in folders for each strap width. Here is how we made this using a Python script, in case you are wondering.

To find the right diameter you need, look at the symbol ø in your lens!

Print settings

We printed this at 0.12 mm layer height, with a 0.4 mm nozzle (0.42 mm line width)

Enable ironing to get that smooth surface on the top layers.

The print requires no supports.

We used Polymaker's PolyTerra PLA Charcoal Black at 205 °C, 60 mm/s. It gives an amazing matte finish :)
