Description
This is a 30mm fan mount for the front of the original Playstation. If you have something like MODE for Playstation and a hard drive in the console, it tends to get on the extremely warm side. I designed this mount to hold a 30mm fan. The fan is held in place by friction, so no extra screws required.
The fan mount attaches to one of the screws that hold the Playstation controller port in place. Remove the screw, press the fan into the mount (make sure it's set to exhaust air from the console) and then put the mount in place and reinstall the screw.
Most of these 30mm fans are intended for Raspberry Pi usage and run off 5 volts. So find an appropriate place to grab power from.
