Fanatec Formula Wheel - Better Encoder

This is an adapter that adds more resistance to the thumb encoder on the Fanatec Formula V2.5 steering wheel. I found the encoders too easy to turn, so this adapter clips in and prevents unintentional rotation.

No additional parts are needed – it's mounted using the existing screw on the wheel.

Due to manufacturing tolerances on the wheel, there are two versions included: one with a 1.4 mm hook depth and one with 1.0 mm. Just try both and see which fits better. The print is very quick to make.

The 3D print is designed for the left side – for the right side, simply mirror it in your slicer.

Das hier ist ein Adapter für mehr Widerstand am Thumb-Encoder des Fanatec Formula V2.5 Lenkrads. Denn die Encoder waren mir einfach zu leichtgängig. Deshalb hakt sich dieser Adpater hier ein und verhindert versehentliches Drehen.
 

Benötigt keine weiteren Teile und wird montiert über die am Lenkrad vorhandene Schraube.
Wegen der Toleranzen am Lenkrad gibt es zwei Versionen mit einem 1,4mm und einem 1,0mm tiefen Haken. Einfach beide probieren, welcher besser passt. Der Druck ist superschnell gemacht.

Der 3D Print ist für die linke Seite, für die rechte Seite einfach im Slicer spiegeln.
