Explanatory Wand Series – Introduction and Output Guide
1. Concept: Symbolic wand that embodies the essence of the subject
This series is an explanatory presentation wand that expresses science and mathematics subjects in visual sculptures.
Each cane is not just a prop, but a symbolic sculpture that visually contains the philosophy and structure of the study.
It consists of a total of four themes, and the appearance and name of the cane mean the following:
Quantelix (Physics)
Etymology: Quantum + Relativity + Elix
Shape: complex curvature and asymmetric structure to represent wave functions, entanglement, and space-time warping
Catalyx (chemistry)
Etymology: Catalyst (catalyst) + yx ( suffix of change)
Shape: Repeated bends and ring structures shape molecular bonds, activation of reactions
Virelia (life)
Etymology: Virus + Helia (light)
Shape: Organic, smooth curves symbolize cell division, gene flow, and life evolution
Axiona (mathematics)
Etymology: Axiom + a (circular linguistic ending)
Shape: Iteration of symmetry and straight lines represents logic, proof, and structural absoluteness
2. Purpose of production: tools to increase the immersion and delivery of explanations
This wand is designed as a tool to increase concentration in classes, lectures, science camps, experimental presentations, presentations, and more.
Rather than just a cover, this tool, which embodies the subject's characteristics, provides the presenter with both symbolism and visual emphasis.
Subject to use: middle school students, high school students, college students, graduate students, professors, school teachers, academy instructors, etc
Use cases: Class presentations, science competitions, experimental explanations, video props, STEM activities, etc
3. Output method: Deliver complete model + split into slicers
The provided STL file is an assembled bar type all-in-one model.
The user can output two to three parts using the cut function of the slicer on PrusaSlicer, Cura, etc.
Printers: Prusa i3 MK3S+ and FDM 3D Printers
Layer height: 0.3mm
Brim: 10 mm or more recommended
Support: Not required
Full length: approximately 420 mm
Reinforcement: 5mm diameter, 420mm length Aluminum rod insertable (in design, inner penetration diameter is 5.6mm)
Adhesion: Users have used a lock tight 480 high viscosity or gel type adhesive, which is recommended.
4. Output Materials and Design Information
Using Silk PLA: Emphasize the magical feeling of the cane with subtle reflective light and soft surfaces
Exterior wall thickness: 4 or higher recommended in output settings
Center structure: penetrating type, diameter 5.6 mm → diameter 5 mm metal rod insertion structure
Post-processing: The string generated at the time of output can be removed with a torch or hot air fan
Surface finish: recommended use of transparent spray (for the purpose of maintaining gloss and preventing moisture absorption)
5. Precautions and Advantages for Use
Summary of Advantages
420mm long, good for pinpointing far away
Hand-held structure and grip
Improve immersion and concentration with symbols for each subject
Output without support, easy post-processing
Superior rigidity with metal rod insertion structure
Fillet-treated surfaces → Easy post-processing
precautions
Do not use epoxy glue because it is fragile
Acetone fumigation method is not suitable for PLA and silk PLA → Never use
Adhesive must be applied thinly to stick well
Ensure that the parts are aligned in a straight line when combined
6. Copyright and Sharing Guide
This STL file is for personal use only,
File sharing or commercial use is strictly prohibited without the consent of the producer.
7. Request for suggestion of cane subject
If you want an explanatory wand with a new subject,
Leave your subject name, wand appearance, and desired length in comments or messages.
Complex curved designs may be difficult, but we will try to reflect feedback as much as possible.
