Description
Hello,
Roadmap:
A few days ago, I uploaded a design for a 10" rack for network devices (https://www.printables.com/model/1290994-easyrack-10-rack-for-network-devices).
However, I wanted to create something larger, so I took some time to modify the original files.
Today, I'm excited to share with you the first version of the 19" rack.
If you've already printed the 10" rack and want to upgrade it to the 19" version, you’ll only need to download 4 files and print them in parts.
You will need to print:
Additionally, you will need:
Assembly instructions:
2. the two parts to be glued together (Additional - cover magnet holes using some tape).
3. In the 'U'-shaped channel, apply and mix the two-part epoxy glue. I used Q-tips for this step.
4. Insert one of the profiles into the channel and press it down firmly by hand.
The channel height is 12.15mm, so the 10mm profile won’t be flush with the wall. Make sure to push it in as deep as possible.
5. Repeat the process for the remaining three profiles.
6. Insert M6 heat-set inserts (the same as used in the 10" version) into the bottom holes for the feet.
7. To attach the stability panels, simply insert M6 heat-set inserts and screw the panels together.
After that just unscrew old EasyRack_TopLogoLinkage / EasyRack_TopBackLinkage. Leave all side panels and 3U/6U rails. Then screw down new 19" version.
