toothbrush squeezer worm drive

this toothbrush squeezer works by worm drive.

i included 2 rollers. 1 with no slot in the end .

and 1 with the slot all the way through 1 end to make removing the tube easier.

to assemble push through the top gear and holes in the frame.

1.  make sure you push the crank from the side of the frame opposite the tube insertion slot on the frame.

2. insert the to gear into place to insert the crank through the gear. then throught the other hole in the frame.

3. insert the bottom ger into place for the roller. once it in place insert the roller through the hole all the way, maling sure it in correct gear orientation to seat the end on the roller. and be sure the cutout in the gear for the  roller end is facing the right way, facing outward.

to remove tube just push out the roller from the end of the frame, towards the gears then slide out the tube out the end of the roller. the gear will stay in place as long as you dont push the roller all the way out the other end. the rollers have extra length to facilitate pushing the roller past the gear, then you can pull the end of the roller as far out as you need.

if mindfull the top crank may not need a cclip.

the crank has a round piece on the end to crank to make it easier to crank.

also, no need to start from the end of the tube if the tube is part way empty. just slide the toothpaste near to the place you want to start from and let the extra empty end of the tube just hang out the back. or, if you prefer you can stick the extra end through the bottom slot in the frame which is made for this purpose .
