Description
This test strip maker allows for simple exposure of localized test strips when making prints in the darkroom on an enlarger. The handle has small bridges marking where the next position of the slide should go and is visible in low lite of the darkroom.
Bellow I have made these test strips from standard size photopaper 12.7 x 17.8 cm (5 x 7 inch paper) cut into 6 equal pieces measuring 4.2 x 8.9 cm.
These small test strips save alot of paper and allow 5 different exposure times to be tested with the F-stop or linear method.
Here is a good video I found explaining the process for F-Stop printing using a test strip device :) And a link to the amazing 35mmc website with a article about printing with this method.
Sould be printed in opaque fillamet to prevent any light penetrating through.
I have included the file for a cover for the window but i dont use it in my process.
Happy Printing :)
