K1 & K1C Lid Riser with LED strip integration (40mm)

Here is my riser mod that is 40mm in height. The parts are optimised for easy printing with no supports and all fit on the K1 print bed size. Includes a part to fill the gap in the lid. 

(You need to print 2 x LED side components)

Because its 40mm higher the LED location is not interrupted by the printhead or cable chain.

I included an angled face on the panels to run a 24v LED strip all the way around to get 360 degree lighting. Its a huge improvement on the standard tiny LED strip. 

You will need 6 x M3x20 countersunk screws. 2 for the hinge pins and 4 to replace the 4 in the top of the printer that secure the corner parts down.

I also used EVA foam along the top edge to prevent any rattling. 

I printed them in PETG CF with 4 walls and 15% infill at 0.2LH.

PLEASE NOTE the pictures are the original version i printed of these. The download files are improved and the light at the rear is now matching the others unlike mine in the pictures.
