Mechanism Spring Retainer Plate for Apple iMac A1419

If you have an 27" Apple intel iMac, circa 2013 (A1419 in my case) that just won't stay tilted the way you desire, you probably know that the spring mechanism has broken. Here is a part that can permanently fix the problem.

Please keep in mind that disassembling these computers is a complex process and is not for amateurs. You need to remove everything inside to get to this mechanism! Please check around the internet for guides before attempting this repair!

This part is to be made out of metal only - Preferably steel! (Prototype milled part shown in images made out of 1018 steel.)
