Description
I have Jung LS 990 frames all around my house, which are nice, but most third party devices, especially smart switches and such, are made for the Gira 55mm system. I created a simple adapter plate here. This is a two part model, where you can easily switch out the top plate for a different look. I thought of this while testing the normal adapter and thinking the contrasting colors actually looked kind of cool :)
The clips are somewhat fragile, but I've found that the plate will easily stay on by friction alone really. There's a small indentation you can use to pry it loose using a screwdriver or voltage tester.
Make sure to align the tabs on the bottom adapter such that they are where there's no screws, otherwise it won't fit. The tabs will cause the whole thing to push itself in.
Note: AFAIK you should never print things for your high voltage electronics out of standard filaments, since they will burn easily! I've used ASA filament with UL94 HB certification. Doing some tests confirmed this will just melt and it will try and extinguish the flame. For this version I've printed the bottom part out of this material, but use this is at your own risk!
