Twin Peaks Black Lodge Bookend

Hi there!

Here are the files for the “Twin Peaks Bookend” – a model that is a combination of the files of “Twin Peaks Black Lodge Set” by DTuininga and “Twin Peaks Bookend” by mtakis. 

Both model sets were published awhile ago, so I refreshed them and made sure the files were suitable for printing. The pictures are my own of the set I printed. My other issue with the original models was the lack of assembly directions for the bookends. I did some redesigns for simplicity sake and to allow the model to be fully 3D printed (original model called for plywood). I also remodeled the lamp files as they were too thin for printing with a 0.4 nozzle. 

ASSEMBLY NOTES:

• Use superglue/E6000/your choice of adhesive to stick parts down.
• The tolerances for the base inside the frame are press-fit tight. I used a rubber mallet to make sure the model was fully in place. Feel free to scale the “base” model down by +/- .05 if you are struggling with getting it to fit inside the frame. Everyone's printers have different tolerances. 
• There are extra black and white chevrons. You will not use all of them!
• Supports are already included in the files that require them (Venus de Milo and Side Table). Everything else can be printed as standard, with between 10-15% infill. 
• I tried to use multi-material for the gold banding on the chairs. The model is too small for this to work. Just use a gold sharpie / paint marker if you want to do it!
