Damit die Fernbedienung nicht nur auf dem Tisch rumliegt sondern auch passend beim Fernseher abgelegt werden kann. Die Halterung hat den Vorteil das durch den Winkel die Solarzellen so ausgerichtet sind das sie besser die Batterie laden können, falls das Überhaupt nötig ist ;)

So that the remote control is not just lying around on the table but can also be placed near the TV. The bracket has the advantage that the solar cells are aligned at an angle so that they can charge the battery better, if that is necessary at all ;)
