IKEA VARDAGEN hydroponic propagation lid

A lid designed to fit on an IKEA VARDAGEN glass to hold 4 plant cuttings for hydroponic propagation.

Why bother with a lid?

• Reduces water evaporation/refilling
• Keeps leaves out of the water where they rot
• Holds stems in a vertical position allowing deeper submersion

I printed in PETG and use it for propagating basil on my kitchen windowsil before re-planting in soil.Takes basil a week or two in water for roots to grow enough for planting.
