Description
Hi,
We've got a Pneumatic Dispenser at work to apply mostly 1K silicone glue ... but lately the foot switch stopped working.
This is our fix. A tact-switch operated grip designed to hold our standard 55cc/approx. 2 oz dispenser cartridges (dia: ~25,5 mm).
After printing it we glued in a 6x6 mm tactile switch with some cable. The operator stated, that this new grip allows a much more precise manual control over the dispensing process and it is easier to operate.
BOM:
- printed grip
- two rubber bands to hold the grip in place
- push switch + cable + connector
my print settings:
- 0,4 nozzle @ 0,3 mm layer height
- 3 walls
- 10 % gyroid infill
- material: PLA
- supports: yes
- brim: yes, 10 mm
- print time: 45 min on my prusa MK4 with a custom profile at around 100mm/s
Updates:
V1.10 - 03.02.2026 (see first 2 pictures)
- Updated the cutout to accommodate a larger push button
- Moved the cable routing to the outside, as the internal routing in V1.0 often caused cable breakage during frequent cartridge changes.
Happy printing!
