Description
This is a ½" NPT air line muffler. I haven't measured decibels, but from what I can tell, it cuts the sound by about half. I used it on an air compressor auto drain running at roughly 150 PSI through a ¼" line, and it handles that with no problem. I’m not sure how it would hold up at higher pressures or with more volume, though.
If you're worried about potential failure, you can beef up the walls or wrap some tape around it so it doesn't become a frag if it fails.

I printed mine from PLA. Print with the threads facing up and you shouldn’t have any issues—it’s designed to print in that orientation. Mine was printed on a Prusa MK3S+.
