Description
This is a remix of MandicReally's "Voron Y Endstop Relocation w/ PG7 Cable Gland Mount". The purpose of this remix is to allow it to be used with the Linneo cable harness, which uses a square flange mount with 4x M2x10 FHCS screws (with 13x13mm spacing), instead of a standard PG-7 cable gland. The cable "guard" cover is also thickened to approx 2.4mm, but otherwise it is identical to the original design:
The modification was suggested and tested by Steiner-Se, who is using a Linneo cable harness on a 2.4 R2 build (with the LDO Nitehawk-SB USB Tool Head). The pics are also courtesy of Steiner-Se.
There are 6 models provided here (and a STEP with all the versions). The models include 1 and 2 color versions of the following three types (6 options in total):
1. non-insert version 1.9mm through holes
2. insert version 4x4.5 pockets for inserts with 2.15mm through holes
3. insert version 3.6x4.3 pockets for inserts with 2.15mm through holes
The multicolor versions are separated into a Part A and Part B, which should be loaded together into the slicer. A BambuStudio 3MF is provided with all parts set up. The profile is set up for PETG, but that is not a material recommendation, for that please use your best judgment. I believe that the mounts shown in the images were printed using ASA.
The insert versions use either a 3.6mm or 4mm diameter brass inserts. The inserts install from the top for the front 2 holes, and from the bottom side of the mount, for the back 2 holes. The reason for this is due to the front cable guard being in the way of installing all the inserts from the back of the mount.
If for some reason you want to convert this mount back to using a PG7 cable gland, I made an adapter which should work with it (it's not tested with the mount, but it's very simple and I see no reason it would not work). You can find that adapter over on MakerWorld at the link below:
I have a number of other Voron related models, which you can find here.
If you find these models useful, please post a like or a comment with some pics of your prints.
