Description
This trap tips when the mouse walks to the end of the plank to eat the bait. It also automatically resets due to a counterbalance. A magnet, along with an adjustable bolt, enables the weight required to tip the plank to be fine tuned. Lean a board against a 5 gallon bucket and add a little peanut butter to the board. (mice can easily walk on the top edge of the bucket) Also add a little peanut butter at the start of the plank to build their confidence. Then put the main bait at the end of the plank. Adjust the ¼"-20 bolt to trip under the weight of a mouse. Adjust the counterweight so the trap resets automatically. Required materials: ¼-20 steel bolt, #10 steel bolt, #10 nut, #10 washers, ¼" diameter x 1/8" thick magnet, glue.
