Thestral Unicorn Nightmare (DND / TTRPG)

This was an fun model to play with and kinda fits the model of a Nightmare that I have in mind. I do really like the fiery versions from standard DND but this is more Thestral-like.

The original AI model had the normal issues that I thickened up. I did a pass sculpting with the inflate and draw tools to etch in tendons and bones sticking out then I did another pass to add skin textures, fur (for the pseudo fiery mane) and some dragon horns for some of the spikes. I also did some posing although I should have added more leg bones - it would have been nice to do a standing/rearing pose (like my James Baxter).

One downside is that the model doesn't have the same length as a standard horse as the legs are much much closer so this only sits on a 25mm baseplate. The wings add a LOT to its size and it's pretty tall just not very long.

Overall I'm pretty happy with this evil looking thing and would definitely not want to encounter one while walking through the woods (the only Nightmare I want to meet in the woods is Shia Labeouf).
