Print-in-place phone stand

You can either print as is, or if you want the effect pictured, you need to use the following slicer settings;

• Walls - 4
• Top & Bottom layers - 0
• Infill - Gyroid 10%

This will remove the solid top and bottom layers, create a strong wall which completely encloses the hinge cylinder. I also printed with a Tri-Colour Silk PLA to make the Gyroid pattern pop.

This is based on a tutorial from Desktop Makes on YouTube. I modified the inner geometry of the hinge mechanism, which I find works better (smoother action and stronger).
