Cidora SL5 v1.2 Gopro Mount

About the design

This is a Gopro mount for the Cidora SL5 v1.2 frame. This design minimizes the effect of layer adhesion and instead relies on the material strength for structural integrity.

Printing & Assembly

Orient the parts like shown on the picture. Put the tabs (Lasche einfach.stl &Lasche Mutter.stl) through the slits of the bottom Part (Boden.stl). Once the mount is screwed onto the top plate of the frame, the tabs are secured - no glue required. Note that the partLasche einfach.stl has to be printed twice. Use an M5 nut and an M5x20 flathead screw to mount the Gopro.

Editing the CAD file

The attached CAD file is parametric. The parameterPresspassung refers to the minimum distance between two parts. The parameterSpielpassung refers to the clearance fit between screws and printed parts. Change these parameters if the tabs are not fitting properly, or if the screws do not fit.

Notes: It is crucial to print all layers at 0.2 mm for accurate fittings.
