An easy print for your IKEA DIY Mod!
My wife and I did the IKEA Hemnes Shoe Rack Mod for our front entry way. We have baseboards that are a little taller than the feet (7/8 inches to be exact!).
So, instead of trying to cut the base boards away, I made this 2-piece print that makes it easy to adapt in 3 easy steps:
1 - Print the pieces
2 - Place the slip on piece into the leg
3 - Slide the support in
DONE!
If you have a different dimension, no fret!
Just adjust the model height for the support piece. For better accuracy, slice the piece in 2, add height, and re-attach. If it needs to be shorter, just slide it off!
