Bit Driver

Hello!

This is a bit driver I designed to fill a gap in my needs. Occasionally I would need something quicker and smaller than a screwdriver but with more torque I could apply with just my fingers. This design takes some inspiration from some metal bit drivers I have seen on instagram. This design is 100% my own though.

It utilizes a magnet for bit retention and a 608 bearing to allow rotation of the driver while you supply downward force with your palm.

Print Settings:

• .2 or lower layer height 
• 4+ walls and high % of infill. You want this to be solid.
• Brim is highly recommended
• Enable supports to get a super clean internal overhang where the magnet presses in. These should be a piece of cake to remove.
• I have been using PLA with zero issues but the stronger the material the better

Materials Needed:

• 608 bearing

• 5 x 3 magnets
  • These precisely measure 5 x 2.65

With enough interest I would be more than happy to explore other handle and cap patterns, different magnet sizes etc etc.
