Description

Hello everyone.

This is redesign of nozzle alignment Probe for tool changer 3d printer. with extra bucket and nozzle wiper.

I design this mods as normal nozzle alignment probe have to be attached to the side of 2020 extrusion aluminum.

And as I have evenmore bed fan so probe have to be way far from 2020 extrusion aluminum.

When I design probe I think nozzle have to be cleaned before probing so I  added nozzle wiper to it. And I don't want to make mess so I added removable bucket to the nozzle wiper.

Feel free to remix it.

Must of parts aka 10x2mm magnets and Bambulab A1 wiper I have it before.

So feel free again to remix the design (I attached f3d and step files)

Also I made copy with must common magnets 6x3mm ((note: still not tested))

Note: some parts need support and reorientation before printing.

  • [1] M3x12mm ultra low head hex screw   link
  • [1] M5x12mm BHCS    link
  • [1] M3x6mm FHCS    link
  • [4] M2x8 self tapping screws (you can take it from Mellow Hartk Sexbolt Z Limit Endstop)
  • [1] M3 T-nut   link
  • [1] M5 T-nut   link
  • [6] 10x2mm magnets (or you can use 6x3mm magnets but you have to print the files for them)
  • [1] Bambulab A1 wiper   link

Assembly

First add bottom heat insert nuts

And add PCB that you take from Mellow endstop

attached bottom cover and tight the four M2 self tap screws

important note: you have to drill 4mm hole in mellow PCB to attach bottom M3x12mm support screw. this screw can be tight from electronic side to hold the probe with bottom cladding ((this is optional))

In this step you have to tight the top dowel pin with 20mm M3 threaded rod all the way in.

After that attach M3 square nut to the 20mm M3 threaded rod

After that tight bottom dowel pin with 20mm M3 threaded rod

Use M3 square nut to lock dowel pin in place

Note: over all length for this rod must be 30mm you can increase or reduce it by 1mm

Note: square nut are optional. I use it to make sure this pin not rotate in hosing so I can get same reading when probing nozzle.

You can use normal m3 nut but you have to remix the top part.

First add two M3 3x4x5 threaded inserts.

Then add bottom 4x6x6 bushing to main base.

Then add pins with nuts down side.

Then add 4x6x6 bushing to the top part.

Then attached top part to main base.

And tight it with two M3x8mm ultra low head hex screw.

Note : you have not over tight and make sure pins move freely.

Glue in place one 10x2mm magnet or (6x3mm magnets if you go with it)

Glue in place three 10x2mm magnet or (6x3mm magnets if you go with it) to the bottom of bucket.

Attached Bambu lab A1 wiper.

Glue in place two 10x2mm magnet or (6x3mm magnets if you go with it) to the bottom of bucket holder.

And you are done.🎉

Now install it in your Voron 2.4 printer.

First part Bucket magnet holder Using M3x6mm FHCS with M3 T-nut in your bed 2020 extrusion profile.

And M5x12mm BHCS with M5 T-nut for the base part.

Also don't forget to attached the optional M3x12mm support screw for the electronic side.

This part for guide drill bite hole in cladding.(( optional ))

First attach it to front 2020 aluminum extrusion using same M5x12mm BHCS with M5 T-nut.

and then drill it with 3.5mm dill bite.

Warning. make sure there are nothing under that hole so you don't damage electronics or wires with drill bits.
