This is my mount which moves the filament runout sensor to the top right of the Core One. It is remixed from the following:

BOM:
- Original Side Filament Sensor along with the magnetic ball, two bar magnets, m2x8 screw
- m3 screw and an m3 nut
- m2x8 screw, two washers, and a rubber o-rings
- A short bowden tube (14.7mm). I have provided a cutter guide.
- 3 50cm jumper wires and some heat-shrink tubing. (or make your own cable)
- 4 magnets and an M10 pneumatic bowden connector for https://www.printables.com/model/380854-twist-quick-relase-ptfe-tube-connector
Printing:
Everything lays flat on its back and prints well with 0.2 layer height. I used 15% Gyroid. I will be reprinting this is PETG and PCTG, but I didn't have any so the prototype is just in natural PLA.
Instructions:
- Press insert the magnets in the corner bracket and the bowden connector. Make sure the magnets are flush or slightly sunk.
- Cut the bowden tube to length.
- Insert the bowden connector and bowden tube into the box and secure it with a screw. Make sure the socket head is flush or slightly sunk.
- Connect the jumper wires to the filament sensor (note which wires go to which pins).
- Complete the box as per the assembly instructions.
- The cover sits between the box and corner bracket. Secure the corner bracket, cover, and box with 2 m3 screws. Make sure the socket heads are flush or slightly sunk.
- Route the filament sensor cable through the side hole on the right side and secure it with electrical or duct tape. I put an extra grommet in this hole as well. (note, I also have a thermistor cable for my exhaust fan coming out of here).
- Remove the appropriate nylon rivet from the acrylic side panel.
- Insert the Core One bowden tube. Make sure it is completely inserted.
- Mount the assembly on the top right of the Core One. Note the peg will fit into the little square hole on the top corner of the panel and the bottom hole will line up with the hole where you removed the rivet.
- Attach the assembly with an m3 screw and a nut from the inside, leave it loose
- This step is a really tricky. Put a washer-o-ring-washer on the m2x8 and secure it to the assembly from the inside corner (into the little peg). Precutting the screw into the little hole a bit is recommended.
- Tighten the lower m3 screw.
- Slide on a short piece of heat-shrink tubing.
- Connect the jumper wires to the filament senser cable. Be sure the connect the wires correctly! The hot wire to the hot wire, the ground to the ground…
- Shrink the tubing over the connection to secure it. (A little janky, I know. But it works!)
- Test to make sure that everything functions properly!
Done!
