Frankford X-10 Collator Mini Stop Switch

These Stop Switches are designed to work with the Frankford Arsenal Bullet Collator and it's auto stop when the tube fills with bullits. I could not find a switch with a light enough pressure to trigger when using 55gn 5.56 etc. So I built these that use a printed swing arm on a 3mm screw and a small magnetic reed switch to keep it as small as possible.

Used a 3mm screws with a bolt (for each). Bough a set a while ago that I will be using for a long time (1000K+ pieces) for under $20

Printed with PETG, 0.4 on a Bambu Labs A1 at .16mm (Optimal) settings to get a more fine print.

45ACP (only partially tested as I purchased the FA one so did not want to uninstall) but uses the same template so should work

Pictures show the placement of the reed switch and the wires (I used shrink wrap to assure contact with the reed switch posts)

To build this (7 easy steps)
1: Print the 3 parts, I used Tree supports (only needed for the main body)
2: Pre-cut / strip the plug wires and feed into the plug hold assuring that the wires feed into the body cavity
3: snip the reed switch lower wire as it is too long to fit in the small space (I tried to keep it all small)
4: Shrink Wrap the two wires (colors do not matter, it just closes the circuit) and press into the oval wire space
5: Press the magnet into the rocker are (itshould snap in without glue etc.)
6: Slide the rocker arm into the housing with the magnet on the reed side, face towards the reed, and put the 3mm screw/nut in as the pin
7: Snap the cover into place (no glue needed). Note the cover also serves to limit the travel of the rocker arm so it does not stick too high

Hope this all makes sense. I build all of these and they work great (note 45ACP above). Just gravity used to reset when the tube clears, and the magnets set to a proximity close enought to trigger the reed switch to turn off the Collator (but not so close as to stick in the "off" position)
