Yaesu FT-891 mic connector plate

If you like my handy carry handle for the Yaesu FT-891/FC-50 combo, you might like this add-on plate that can hold an Ethernet coupler so you can quick-change between your hand mic and a headset.

I used these short Ethernet cables and one of these Ethernet couplers.  The coupler slides into the box on the plate and so far hasn't needed any adhesive to stay put.

Since this plate adds about 2mm thickness to the handle, you may need 12mm M4 screws to complete the assembly.
