Description

This model includes a metric M10 × 1.5 ISO thread screw and a matching M10 nut.
Both parts are designed to be 3D printed, and are useful for:

✅ Thread calibration
✅ Mechanical prototypes
✅ Educational purposes
✅ General fitting tests

Dimensions

Screw:

  • Outer diameter: 10.0 mm
  • Thread pitch: 1.5 mm (ISO standard)
  • Thread length: ~25 mm
  • Head diameter: variable — depending on design
  • Total height: depends on your model (check STL)

Nut:

  • Outer diameter: ~17 mm (typical, may vary by model)
  • Inner diameter (thread core): 8.5 mm (for M10 × 1.5 thread)
  • Height: customizable

Print Settings

  • Layer height: 0.1–0.2 mm
  • Infill: ≥50%
  • Supports: Not required
  • Recommended materials: PETG, ABS, ASA — PLA may wear out faster
  • Tolerances: Ensure your printer is well-calibrated; you may scale by ±1% for optimal fit if necessary

Notes

This is a functional test model. It is not intended for high-load applications or permanent fastening.
For best results, use 0.1–0.15 mm layer height for fine thread detail.

The M10 screw and nut were modeled using the standard ISO parameters — however, as STL export and slicer tolerances vary, always check fit before using in functional assemblies.
