I made this to test my new IDEX printer, and much easier to print than a 3D benchy. It isn't anything revolutionary, but I do like the final part as a decorative piece.
- The base model is kinda large, I scaled it down to 60-75%
- Obviously it's difficult to print a sphere on a flat build plate. I lowered the z-height of the model so that it was “sunken” into the build plate, clipping the bottom to create a small flat surface.
- Each color is a separate body, so your slicer will generate perimeters for every cell in the cube. The end result is pretty dense regardless of your settings.
