Disassembly tool for Baader Planetarium Laser Collimator Mark 3 rotary switch in case of a loose contact

Disassembly tool for removing the sleeve nut on the battery insert, which is required in the event of problems with switching on the laser due to a loose connection.

Suitable for flat-blade tool screw driver bit 5 mm with total length ~ 25 mm.

Printing

~ 14 grams. PETG recommended, Nozzle 0.4 mm, Layer height 0.2 mm, 3 wall lines, alternate extra wall ON, no brim, no support, infill pattern triangles, infill density 35%.

Fit

In case the hexagon pockets are too small, either change the FreeCAD model to your needs or scale the model a little bit in the slicer (~ 1-3 %).
 

Fixing the loose contact

In my case cleaning the small wire, contact spray on the "contact screw" (hex head socket) and also on the battery cover helped.
